Unless you really understand the specifics of the inter workings of the city’s economy, political climate and other variables then they all just look like petty squabbles of old men fighting over contracts. As they dashed around the arena, Knoll tore through every pillar on the outside in a matter of moments. Eventually growing quite over eager and blatantly reaching too far with his attacks. He slashed with what he had left, cutting Bobby’s chest. He bled just like the rest of us. The monk once again kicked the weapon away.

Knoll nailed him with a right hook sending him to the ground. Bobby ate a kick to the gut getting back to his feet only backing his opponent off with a jab before throwing a flying knee to the head. Then he followed it up with a combo of about every strike. Knoll followed in kind.

They exchanged back and forth for a while until Knoll was near the part of his sword that didn’t have a handle. Without waiting for a moment, he snatched it, taking a big punch to do so. Then backed Bobby away with a slash. He quickly dashed to the rest of the weapon, spitting the acid on the piece in his hand. Then he quickly jammed the two segments together. Taking a kick in the head in the process, but he had his sword back.

And he quickly slashed Bobby’s arm.

Knoll then unleashed another flurry of strikes that the monk struggled to avoid.

This time, Knoll wasn’t over-extending. They went longer than the first time this happened and the troll knight was not making the same mistake. So Bobby punched him. Bobby swept Knoll to the ground, then ripped the weapon from his hand swinging down hard.

The troll knight dodged, and Bobby tossed the weapon away returning the fight to hand to hand. But the troll didn’t like that very much. He quickly went for space to get back to his weapon, which Bobby obliged again. This time, having more space than he’d had since the fight began.

His whole body began to glow. Not as bright as his fist at first, but soon his whole body was just as bright. Knoll did not like that. So he didn’t attack. He danced around waiting for the dragon man to do something. Bobby nodded to him, and the light slowly dissipated. He was soon the same shade of red as he was before.

Knoll giggled, crouched, and lunged forward with full ferocity.
